CROMYLITE®

CROMYLITE is the trade name of a family of hexavalent chromium products. Each CROMYLITE system is application specific to ensure best performance and cost effectiveness. CROMYLITE chromium processes out perform "home brew" processes and ensure that your chrome process will perform as specified to minimize downtime and rejects.

CROMYLITE chromium systems are available for all Enthone chrome plating processes and can be used in virtually all applications when nickel is deposited for decorative characteristics. This includes appliances, furniture, sporting equipment, tools, and hardware. In such applications, the chromium deposit also has a positive impact on corrosion resistance.

Using CROMYLITE chrome plating processes provides operating benefits in addition to improved deposit characteristics. Many of the CROMYLITE systems are self-regulating for simplified operation and more consistent performance. Systems designed for evaporative recovery reduce plugging of the recovery unit for reduced maintenance costs.

Many of the CROMYLITE products are pre-blended with ZERO-MIST, spray/mist suppressant. ZERO-MIST products reduce surface tension of the solution and provide a foam blanket on the surface of the bath which reduces airborne chromium and stack loss by 99%. ZERO-MIST also reduces drag-out losses by 70 to 90%
